Murder most unladylike is a very fun read, with a loveable and relatable narrator and her excitable and daring best friend. The story occurs in a posh English boarding school in the 1930s and Robin Stevens does an amazing job bringing this to life. On the surface this is a murder mystery, but the themes beneath give Murder most unladylike interesting depth and serve up valuable lessons to readers of all ages.
My favourite line is: This sounded suspiciously like there would be no time to collect our biscuits. I did not much like that.
